Toy Me “Hunting Trap Bracelet”- Wear the pain

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

Now you can wear the pain of what seems to be one of the most cruel hunting devices ever designed on your wrist. This is certainly a less painful way to wear a bear trap, than the way most bears and other critters probably ended up wearing it. The bracelet is made from silver and the price might leave you wanting to chew your own arm off rather than ever allow the bracelet to disappear from your sight.

BR Women’s 3/4 Sleeve Animal Print Cardigan: sale

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

With a dense feline based spot pattern and a nicely muted color selection, it’s possible Banana Republic has created an animal print cardigan that will suit everyone. This charming little button up sweater could be added to any bright bold outfit to bring out the wild side, or it could bring just a hint of the jungle to your sedate office outfit. Made of 35% cotton, 35% extra-fine merino wool, 20% nylon, and 10% cashmere. The cardigan features ribbed trim at neckline, sleeves and hem, and requires hand washing, which is somewhat better than having to get it dry cleaned. Currently on sale, and all sizes are available from XS to XL.

Resist Today Men’s Octophant Tee: strange locomotion

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

The octophant is an intriguing creature that no one would want to meet in the wild - elephantine, brooding, many many legs and what would surely be a strange form of locomotion whether it be on land or in the sea. Printed on a deep red 100% cotton American Apparel tee, this three color print really pops. I like that the octophant wraps around the right side of the tee, versus a more traditional full frontal graphic. Due to the independent nature of the artists behind this tee, your order will be shipped within 7 days of placement.

Men’s Facts About Uranus Tee: instant conversation

Sunday, December 23rd, 2007

More than just a cheap shot at Uranus, this cheeky tee will provide you with some known facts to share, as well as an opportunity to say “yer-a-nus” repeatedly aloud. A two sided print, the front has a very basic illustration of the planet in question as well as some data and the back of the tee has another image of Uranus and a list of facts. The graphical style could be described as basic, but the message will be clearly received. Printed on a slate colored 100% cotton ring-spun American Apparel t-shirt, and available from small to 2XL.

Faded Line Emek Phonograph Hoody: analog brain

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

This awesome skully phonograph print from Emek is a real charmer. The graphic is open to interpretation so far as meaning, but the elements intrigue - a cut-away into the brain pan of a gap toothed skull, a phonograph with a record spinning, a hand crank and sound amplifier. Tastefully macabe white graphic is printed on a thick black pull-over hoody, made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Billed as a unisex sweatshirt, it can be ordered for men or women.

Teeny Tiny Mr. T Purse: pity the fool who doesn’t have one

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

Looking for a splash of color and inspiration? Pack up this tiny little Mr. T purse and tackle your day with sass and a ready set of inspired come backs - don’t make me mad, sucker! The teeny tiny purse is designed for a night on the town, or for a gal who does not need lots of extra stuff when she is out and about. Measuring 6 inches tall by 4 inches wide, the strap is made of thin cord and is 36 inches long, plus there is a clear vinyl ID pocket on the back of the bag which stays closed with a bit of velcro. The folks at Bolsa Bonita have tons of cute prints to choose from if you are in the market for a purse, but Mr. T captured in his prime is the clear winner.

Rawr! Ladies Pull-Over Hoodie: dino-tacular

Monday, December 17th, 2007

I have a known soft spot for most things dinosaur, and this hoody delivers a particularly charming little guy (gal?) named Rawr! The stark black sweatshirt with a bold white dino screen print packs a visual wallop, and keeps it all functional with marsupial pockets as well as being cut specifically for the female form. Rawr! seems to be a toothy and charming young dinosaur with all the chutzpah of a full sized T-Rex. Brought to you by Kid Pirate, your 100% cotton hoodie will ship from the artist about a week after your order is placed.

Giant 6 Foot Ugly Dolls: best pillow ever!

Sunday, December 16th, 2007

It seems that when you miniaturize an object or inflate it well beyond normal proportions, you increase its cuteness by at least 10 fold. Such is the case with this giant Ugly Doll. 6 feet of plush pillow madness makes me think I need one, even if that would mean having a doll/pillow that is taller than I am. It would look smashing at my next tea party, or make a wonderful friend to keep between me and the floor on movie night when lounging is encouraged. Heck, it might be the perfect camping buddy who doubles as a mattress, provided you are not too tall. It appears that there are 6 foot versions of most of the cast of Ugly Dolls, including bop n’ beep and ox. The folks at Calliope warn that availability is very limited, so if you have the extra cash to order one, you will need to contact them directly.
