The bag is made of black and white pinstriped cotton, and features two different charming faces with eyes and mouths. This bright and eye catching sterling silver necklace has a nice sense of balance and simplicity, while featuring the lovely reddish brown stone carnelian, a variant of chalcedony. Three carnelian stones are used, and are said to emulate the caramel texture of gulali, a Balinese brown sugar candy. Maybe I saw this candy made on an Anthony Bourdain show? Designed and crafted by indie artist Agung Pribadi, who currently resides in Bali, this necklace can be ordered soon and delivered by mother’s day even though it’s coming all the way from Indonesia.
