I think I am in love with the indie designers at Deadworry - they have my taste for oceanic creatures dialed in and have been featured on BirdFight repeatedly. Today I present their sweetly charming grey seahorse baby doll mini dress or tunic tank (how you choose to wear it is up to you). The dark grey a-line tank features a hand printed light grey seahorse graphic across the lower right hand quadrant - a large daddy and much smaller baby. Super cute! I am very charmed by seahorses and their unusual approach to life in the ocean. The mini dress is made of 100% lightweight cotton and has a very forgiving freestyle fit with gathering under the front and back square neckline. Can be washed cold with like colors and requires line drying.
Dang but this is one of the coolest hoodies I have seen for the summer. Brought to you by the indie design crew at Supermaggie, it showcases their cephalopod love and fine aesthetic sensibilities. Front and center is a large black octopus, while the back is covered with a more detailed print which includes an upside down octopus as well as multiple blue waves. The two sided, two color print really makes this v neck hoodie stand out as a fabulous find. Printed on an oatmeal colored raglan pullover hoodie and made of a unique eco-fabric which is knitted imperfectly to create a vintage look, it is machine washable. With sleeves that hit above the elbow, marsupial pockets, and a plunging v neckline it’s both cute and perfect for layering.
I love Earth brand shoes and covet these slick, high style mary jane’s. Featuring leather uppers and their patented negative heel technology, these shoes promote natural body alignment through wear. I like the look of these mary jane’s with the pieced together leather and bold overstitching in black. The bag is made of black and white pinstriped cotton, and features two different charming faces with eyes and mouths. Choose between the frowning toothy faced side (complete with removable fabric bows) or the toothless but upbeat smiling side. The tote measures 12.5 inches wide by 14.5 inches high, and 3.5 inches deep - big enough for a day bag, or perhaps a diaper bag if you are child inclined.
I really like this fashion forward take on a classic dress. With a flattering a-line skirt and empire waist as well as a back tie, this is a style that is going to look good on nearly anyone, no matter what your personal attributes. Composed of a poly/viscose/lycra blend and brought to you by the indie style house of She-Bible, I had a really tough time deciding which color I liked best. I am a sucker for camouflage, most especially if the colors are other than traditional. This cute, long cut tank top from Oakley is a nice example of a modern camouflage in a black and grey or white and grey print - the black is pictured below. Made of 100% cotton, the Oakley logo is pretty discreet on the lower left corner and surrounded by stars. A basic ribbed women’s tank with style and a little bit of bite.
Looking for a way to bring a little more piratical fashion to your wardrobe? Check out these cute anchor print capri pants which are currently on sale at PlasticLand. The cut and style of these navy capris were inspired by retro track pants, so they have a nice wide waistband as well as a two button faux fly. Made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester, the manufacturer warns that they run small, so you may wish to size up when ordering. Navy cropped pants with a cute all-over white anchor print - not just nautical, I say they could easily be piratical.

My search for the sexiest animal print swimsuit continues. The sweatshirt is 100% cotton, and has front marsupial pockets, as well as a ribbed hem and cuffs. Add a little fur lining to your spring wardrobe.
