We know you might be tempted to bomb the Gap…it is one of those places that seems to (rightfully so) rile up people who care about the environment, and sweatshop labor etc. etc. This is however a nice zippered cotton fleece sweatshirt with a “mock” collar. It’s a simple overgarmant that will be perfect for those approaching fall weekends…but let’s not think about that yet it’s still summer! Dismiss this post and keep on going down the list…maybe come back to it in a month or so. Go ahead and bomb the Gap, just do it in a way that no one gets hurt, as annoying as some of those “we’re paid to be chipper” salespeople are, I think they are human too…some of them.

Mission Playground in San Diego is one of our favorite eco friendly companies. Here is a new organic cotton shirt from them with a simple message “Plant more homes, build less trees”. The world is coming around to many of the challanges facing us on an envirnmental level, it doesn’t need to be an inquisition, we just need to all be more aware, and start doing what we can to turn things around for our gracious host planet.

It’s hard not to be smitten by this highly intricate and detailed dragon print tee brought to you by illustrator Jeff Wood from Drowning Creek Studio. This men’s dark brown 100% fine jersey cotton tee is graced with a 6 color screen printed dragon on the lower right hand side. They offer a helpful page full of suggestions on how to find out your blood type…starting with “ask your mom”. Shana Logic: Two Sided Skeleton Wings Men’s Tee

You know how to make nearly anything better? Give it a mustache! And that seems to be the driving philosophy from the independent artists over at Mustache and Friends. They have recently opened shop with a number of fine looking mustache enhanced tees and some pins. I chose the Libre tee as my favorite, but check out their small collection and see what suits you best. The Libre tee is a black 100% fine cotton jersey shirt with a hand screened day of the dead inspired skull (with a mustache, of course!) in white.
