Keen shoes are pretty much the perfect summer design for going sock free. They have upped the bar one more time with this new shoe aimed at cyclists. The traditional strapped Keen Newport sole has been modified to feature a TPU cleat cap plate so you can lock into your pedal system, and be ready to hop off anytime you want to go for a hike.

We posted the worn vintage looking chukka from these guys before, but if black is your thing check out the super tough looking black leather version from the Timberland company. The distinctive looking waxed leather will keep you dry, while the wool lining will make sure all the piggies are toasty. The bottom is capped off with the traditionally solid Vibram sole, making these a really solid player for your next favorite winter boot!

Camper is one of our favorite brands, we really like their mix of comfort and classic style. These new Pue shoes have a suede upper, and the fancy comfortable rubber sole will offer comfort for those on their feet all day. The shoes have a classic contrasting stitch around the outside of the shoe that give them a rustic look

A nice modern skate shoe from Etnies with design help from freestyle moto-x rider Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg. The slim fit shoe has a suede upper and bandana detailing. The only thing that is garishly over the top is the lame logo on the laces…maybe you can pry it off with a nice sharp knife! It looks like it is sitting on the laces so maybe it just slips off…

Everyone likes a great worn out comfortable pair of boots, and these new Timberlands strive to give you that stylish worn out look right from the get go. The heavy leather is buffed and distressed, and the wool lining will ensure your toes will stay toasty in the cold weather. These will look terrific right out of the box with some of your aged jeans.

I was excited to discover that the folks over at John Fluevog are trying to introduce more eco-conscious options in their shoe collection. Check out these fun men’s oxford style shoes that feature a green sole, as well as being on sale and available in 3 color combinations. The sole is biodegradable and made of 100% hevea latex. The shoes have lots of heavy contrast stitching, which is visually pleasing and makes them stand out from the crowd. Two of the color combinations - olive & off white and tan & taupe have more of a saddle shoe look with the addition of a white body.

My good buddy Jim swears by the Blundstone boots, and you can see why when you look at this Blundstone 902 steel cap. These stylish slip on boots (side zippers are for pussies) are the staples of the Aussie workforce so you know they are rough and tumble. They are waterproof and feature a polyurethane sole which is formulated for optimal chemical resistance.

Well I have to admit I have not bought many Chucks since they were bought out by the evil overlords. The ones I have, never seem to live up to the fond memories of comfort and quality so firmly etched in memories. They were the only shoe you needed…yeah yeah, shut the hell up Grandpa, no one needs another history lesson stating how much better things were back in the day. These new hi-tops look pretty cool, and are made from the wonder fabric otherwise known as Hemp. Back then in the time before time I never figured anyone would pay $100 for some Converse…oops now I need to go change my depends.
