The dark grey a-line tank features a hand printed light grey seahorse graphic across the lower right hand quadrant - a large daddy and much smaller baby. Super cute! I am very charmed by seahorses and their unusual approach to life in the ocean. The mini dress is made of 100% lightweight cotton and has a very forgiving freestyle fit with gathering under the front and back square neckline. Can be washed cold with like colors and requires line drying.

Dang but this is one of the coolest hoodies I have seen for the summer. Brought to you by the indie design crew at Supermaggie, it showcases their cephalopod love and fine aesthetic sensibilities. Front and center is a large black octopus, while the back is covered with a more detailed print which includes an upside down octopus as well as multiple blue waves. The two sided, two color print really makes this v neck hoodie stand out as a fabulous find. Printed on an oatmeal colored raglan pullover hoodie and made of a unique eco-fabric which is knitted imperfectly to create a vintage look, it is machine washable. With sleeves that hit above the elbow, marsupial pockets, and a plunging v neckline it’s both cute and perfect for layering.

I really like this fashion forward take on a classic dress. With a flattering a-line skirt and empire waist as well as a back tie, this is a style that is going to look good on nearly anyone, no matter what your personal attributes. Composed of a poly/viscose/lycra blend and brought to you by the indie style house of She-Bible, I had a really tough time deciding which color I liked best. Perhaps a bit light hearted for Cthulhu, this fetching tentacled tee might just be a ploy to draw you in. Step closer to peer at my tentacles…Even if you are not a fan of H.P. Lovecraft, this great print of an immense tangle of tentacles is very eye catching and is likely to garner some attention. The green squid filled print resides on a green ringer melange American Apparel tee, and is a Squidfire classic.

This bright and eye catching sterling silver necklace has a nice sense of balance and simplicity, while featuring the lovely reddish brown stone carnelian, a variant of chalcedony. Three carnelian stones are used, and are said to emulate the caramel texture of gulali, a Balinese brown sugar candy. Maybe I saw this candy made on an Anthony Bourdain show? Designed and crafted by indie artist Agung Pribadi, who currently resides in Bali, this necklace can be ordered soon and delivered by mother’s day even though it’s coming all the way from Indonesia.
