Carnelian Necklace Sugar Candy: Balinese crafted visual treat
This bright and eye catching sterling silver necklace has a nice sense of balance and simplicity, while featuring the lovely reddish brown stone carnelian, a variant of chalcedony. Three carnelian stones are used, and are said to emulate the caramel texture of gulali, a Balinese brown sugar candy. Maybe I saw this candy made on an Anthony Bourdain show?
