Made of green, orange and black yarn, the hat boasts bands of colors, glyphs, and llama figures. Warm and of a coarse knitted texture, this hat is a modern take on an ancient local practice. Traditionally, chullo hats were reserved for officials in Andean societies, and the patterns and colors denoted different communities.
