This really might be the best hat ever! Made of 100% alpaca wool, and hand-knit by Peruvian maker Dayanna Carbonel, this hat has ear flaps with tassels and a tail with tassels! Made of green, orange and black yarn, the hat boasts bands of colors, glyphs, and llama figures. Warm and of a coarse knitted texture, this hat is a modern take on an ancient local practice. Traditionally, chullo hats were reserved for officials in Andean societies, and the patterns and colors denoted different communities. Because it is coming from Peru, the shipping time frame is usually 2 to 4 weeks.
