I am terribly smitten by this super-charming bronze fruit bat pendant. The ears and eyes really have a great depth of character, and any bat-lover you know would likely be pleased with this small but lifelike rendering of a hanging fruit bat. Clasping an 18″ oxidized chain in his feet, the bat measures 1.75″ x .75″ x 1″. Chicago indie artist Peggy Skemp says the sculptural pendant is based on a South American fruit bat.
